Anybody have issues with SuiteAnswers? After loading the "Search" button does nothing. Inspecting the console reveals mixed content issues preventing a script to be loaded.
k
Which browser are you using?
a
I've tried this with Chrome, Brave, FireFox and Edge. All the same issue.
k
I was able to use a search successfully.
What are you searching for?
a
Nothing in particular right now. One of my coworkers brought this to my attention.
It may be some setting on our network (managed browser settings maybe) that prevents mixed content for security reasons.
w
I, and a lot of my colleagues, have the same issue.
For us, it might be that our corporate overlords have blocked this URL: https://c.oracleinfinity.io/acs/account/o42h0rx2kx/js/main/odc.js
a
Any colleagues that don't have this problem?
w
Some claimed it worked, but then it stopped working. Maybe a delay in pushing out the URL Filter Database.
You can look for this in the console:

Oh you can turn that preference off in chrome
I knew something would break when Chrome put that security preference out there
w
@KevinJ of Kansas I don't think it's chrome's fault. I'm trying to highlight the top line. If I follow that link, I end up on a blocked URL page from our internal firewall/proxy. And I believe that .js-file is used in the search-function of SuiteAnswers.
k
I get a similar warning
Copy code
A cookie associated with a cross-site resource at <http://www.rnengage.com/> was set without the `SameSite` attribute. A future release of Chrome will only deliver cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with `SameSite=None` and `Secure`. You can review cookies in developer tools under Application>Storage>Cookies and see more details at...
w
Yes, but it's not the warning that is the issue.

k
Ah. ok.

I just tried @KevinJ of Kansas suggestions and noticed everything was set like that already. Then I tried to access SuiteAnswers again and was able to use it just fine.
The cross-site and mixed content errors are still there, but no mentioning of reference errors.
I'll check with our network group to see if they update something in the firewall.
