I don't have solid experience with that but i think deployment is a record so you might operate with it as all other records
i think i remember creating deployment records via script
n
It looks like it is available as a
record.Type.SCRIPT_DEPLOYMENT
yeah I know there are like installation scripts as well. I haven't done those, but i figure they must be able to undeploy as well. I am having trouble finding what module that is part of though
I was hoping that it was available via mass update, and I could just create a saved mass update

M/R and SCheduled script removal won't improve performance in sandbox
n
You don't think so? Do you monitor the SuiteCloud Processor/Queue monitor? Often we are near 100% utilization. NetSuite architecture is opaque, but I have to imagine that our instances are on some sort of VM with a finite amount of processing power. Furthermore, I would have to believe that the processing power is less in the SB. I dunno, makes me feel good to do it, maybe I'm wrong. 😅 One instance where I know it will be a benefit is when trying to test out new MR/Scheduled scripts and I wont have to wait for them to process, because there will be nothing in the queue.
k
Your example is about the only thing it should do for you.
That said, if you are near 100% utilization, you should probably consider SuiteCloud +
n
Yeah considering SuiteCloud + for sure.
What evidence do you have that M/R and Scheduled scripts have no impact on the overall performance of NS?
k
About 4 years of working with developers in sandbox accounts.
