Anyone with department restrictions on that can give me some advice on this issue?

Do you have something to allow cross -subsidiary record viewing or something similar to that extent in the employee or role settings?

Is it not stopping them from editing? Or not stopping them from picking bad values? or is it not stopping them from viewing?

with the same dept as role and supervisor and emp.

i am guessing since i cant see the trans record

so transaction has department X, employee has department X on their employee record and you still can't see it?

emp, super, and trans all have same deprt

Do you have department restrictions on any of the accounts on the transaction? (long shot)

I just created another login, gave it that role only, and still no transactions showing

even with Super on record, and dept restriction, etc.

Do they have the "find transaction" permission?

what happens when you copy link to the transaction from role that can view it, and open in role that can't?
