anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to make NetSuite unavailable to users temporarily for maintenance? I am specifically talking about NetSuite and not the SuiteCommerce store

Depending on how many users you have one option would be to apply IP restriction to all users you don;t want to access NS

Just throwing this out there, CSV against employee record to Remove 'Grant Access' (make sure to not include yourself or admin) and then reverse ??

I too thought about what @flynn said but in times past when we did that we had to then have people create new passwords because when access was removed their credentials were erased.

...oh and possibly any shortcuts on the dashboard / good call @NetSuite_Sherpa

Instead of removing access, set the employee record as inactive. When you reactivate, their password, dashboards etc will still be there.
