Hi Everyone, wondering if anyone has any advice on overloading NetSuite with custom records. We have a M/R script that is generating thousands of custom records to store historical data on parts usage and shipments. Right now we have over 100,000 custom records with the intent that we will be creating around 200,000 - 500,000 per year. Should i be concerned about eventually having millions of custom records in our environment, or can NetSuite handle storing that data for us? TIA #C298P0BCK #C29GDT351 #C29J1BPM3

Hi Alan - Ultimately there will be a record and line limit that NetSuite won't commit to and it could impact performance especially in that record and related records. Is the data required regularly to review or can it be moved to a data warehouse?

Hi Rich, thanks we are thinking of using our data warehouse for this, but just wondered how far we could take it in NetSuite. It sounds like there is no hard limit or threshold to watch out for so we just need to "see how it goes" until stuff starts to break....which is not ideal

Not sure if this is helpful info, but we have a custom record we created in 2018 that now has 3.5 million records, no issues so far.

Thanks Jen that is helpful. Ours is pretty simple too just 12 - 15 fields. No sublists or child records Nothing fancy at all

We have one with 15 million records, has a sublist as well. List view can take 30 seconds to load at times but otherwise works ok
