Hi all, happy Friday!! May be a simple question, but I'm having the hardest time! How do I pull the safety stock level on the item record into an inventory snapshot report? I swear I'm not seeing it as a colum option.

Hey there. In regards to your question, I normally use the preferred stock level for items, then i can go to the “Order Items” under transactions to see what needs to be ordered based on preferred stock quantity. The Safety Stock is not available in reports, but preferred stock is. The Safety Stock is a little different in that it does its own calculations. Eek! I thought we were manually entering the safety stock. I saw all the ways of calculating it. But figured since it was a field on the record I'd be able to pull it in a report. Thanks!!

I’d probably use the preferred stock instead. much easier and it carries over to the Order Items Feature.
