Can we create a unbilled JE from Credit memos and/or negative line item on the Sales Order?

yes, if ti is on SO, it is available for Reclass JE

yes, you should be able to. I cannot say more without looking into specific item settings, rev rec rules, etc.

Thank you Karina, I will look into it. CM seems to work, the negative line on a SO doesn't seem to go to unbilled. I think SutieAnswers notes it as not possible at this time

This does not seem to be correct :disappointed:  I do not think NS would release this functionality without CMs being reclassed as well.  you might want to call support to confirm.

when you say “negative amount” is it different from CMs?  Do you mean you actually enter negative amounts onto Sales Orders?

yes line item with a negative amount  with -1 qty for example

NS does not understand negative amounts; there are processes that address negative values such as credit memo, return authorization, etc.
