Has anyone successfully created a report/search/workbook that is able to display Revenue info joined with Sales Order and Invoice info?

in 20.1 there is a new Billing and Revenue Summary report out of the box, includes SOs

what about invoices.. we are seeing some discrepancies and would like to see if a SO has actually been billed and paid or not

that report shows you what was billed vs recognized
