it's like the auth store is no longer shared between the commandline and the plugin.... Which may make sense as I'm using WSL for the commandline but this IS working on my other computer and I've been using the webstorm-in-windows and suitecloud-cli-in-wsl for many months now

The credentials are stored in user's `home/. suitecloud-sdk`
As you suspect, this seems like cli and WS are  reading From separate credentials file, maybe there was a symlink created by you in your old pc.

Good catch Ali - I created a symlink from WSL back to the windows location where the plugin finds the .suitecloud-sdk folder.
