Has anyone seen copy to account hang on validating and eventually come back and say its done but not actually do anything? Queue appears to be just hanging

since that feature appears to just do SDF behind the scenes anyway, perhaps try doing same with just plain SDF (i.e. pull down the XML definition and push it elsewhere)

I don't prefer Copy to Account feature. The idea is good but it hardly works. I've seen many times that it just hangs.

ditto. I tend to just use real SDF

yes and you have more visibility when an error occurs through SDF

@Ali Syed (NS DevTools QA) Hope you don't mind me tagging you in this - People are frequently complaining about "Copy To Account" failing - I know I have a bug open about it (which got moved to an enhancement to support circular dependencies) - Is there any way for us, as a community, to bump this up the NS priority list? It's clear that it is a big quality of life problem affecting lots of people. I'm guessing the only way to give NS visibility is to upvote enhancement requests? Thank you 🙂

Hello. This feature is out of my team's scope. But please do check with NS Support, if there is already an existing issue for this, then you can request to add your case to it so they will know exactly how many people are having problems, and subsequently the concerned team can prioritize it.
