For companies using Charge Based Billing how do you track/compare a list of services that a customer ordered against the charges that were generated/invoiced for that project? For example we get a PO that has a list of services and we want to show what services have been delivered and invoiced for throughout the project and setup notifications if we are coming close to the PO amount. Is just tracking that through the tasks the only way?

You can create a saved search on charges that have been billed related to the project, but eventually it will come down to task to compare it with your original sales order or invoice.

Thanks @Shaikh Abrar we are trying to avoid the need for creating a sales order for projects, so I was wondering if some other way to track "expected" services against actual delivered services without needing to enter sales orders...sounds like maybe just the tasks is the only way
