Is there a way to prevent anyone from changing the TAX CODE field on a sales order line? We use Avalara and the tax code is going to either be AVATAX or -Not Taxable-. We do not want anyone to be able to change this since it is being defaulted from the customer record. I assume this can only be scripted since I can't seem to find that field in a workflow.

Can you set the column header to blank on the form?

That will make it so that it's "buried" but still stored with the form.

@KevinJ of Kansas Well I'll be...that worked. I tried hiding the TAX CODE column field and found it also removes the TAX RATE field as well. I then tried your recommendation of setting the TAX CODE Column header to blank. It removed it from the column header, kept the tax rate field, and ALSO calculated taxes correctly with Avalara. My hat's off to you!
