We show -6 inventory on hand at a location. When trying to create an adjustment, the adjustment is telling us we have +4 on hand. Has anyone seen this before or have any advice on this?  Never encountered an issue like this before.

To make it more interesting. I did create an adjustment by deducting the 4.... and the inventory location on the item record did drop to zero. I then deleted the adjustment and the inventory location on the item record changed to +4 (was previously -6, so wtf?). However, a Negative Inventory Report still shows -6. Putting in a NS ticket. Something not right.

have you ever used BINS on that item?  If you have inventory on hand in bins and then disable bins you get bad inventory counts like this.  The fix is to do exactly what you did with the inventory adjustment.

I did figure out the issue. The item I was looking at was inactive. There was an IDENTICAL product with the same sku that was being brought up on the adjustment. How annoying.

Had to re-activate, adjust, and inactivate.
