Hey all quick gut check - we are planning to change the name of some of our subsidiary records. I can not imagine this causing any issues but wanted to see if anyone here could think of something I might be missing.

changing names won't have any impact, NetSuite goes by Internal ID which you cannot change so it will update names on all records but it won't impact any.

... and potentially confusing the hell out of your end users. But no financial impact.

You might have Saved Searches using the text.

I've also seen issues with integrations that were setup to use text instead of internal IDs, but normally someone is making a willful decision to be dumb to force that...
