Hi All, I have a question. I would like to search the items in the website with child item SKU in out of box only parent items display in the search results. I want to see the exact child items in the results instead of parents is there a way to do that? Noticed a checked box "*Allow Custom matrix child search in item list*" in configuration record what is the use of this checkbox? can my requirement be achieved with these checkbox?

Have you added the matrix fields to the search index?

That is important too.. but if you go to the website setup record. Search Index -> search fields. Any searchable fields need to be listed here.

@Kearobi Yes all the fields are listed in search index but these fields are both parent and child items. I see only the parent item results in search
