I have a custom List/Record field of type "Employee". When any user clicks on that field dropdown, it only lists a handful of Employees, and not all the active ones in our NetSuite account. It does not have any filters on the field. We have between 100 and 200 active employees, so this has NOTHING to do with the limit of 1,000 in the known NetSuite defect. It's something else controlling which employee records each user can see, but I don't know what it is. and this dropdown only shows 7. How can I get it to show all Employees?

AI generated answer (using internal Slack threads):
Based on the conversations, it seems like the issue you're facing is related to the
Maximum Entries in Dropdowns
setting in your NetSuite account. This setting controls the number of entries that are displayed in dropdown lists throughout NetSuite. If you have set this number to a value less than the total number of active employees in your account, then not all employees will be displayed in the dropdown list. You can adjust this setting by navigating to
Home > Set Preferences > General > Maximum Entries in Dropdowns
. However, please note that there is a known limitation in NetSuite where if you have more than 1,000 active employees, the dropdown will only display the options “All, Unassigned, Mine, My Team”. This is a system limitation and cannot be changed. If you have less than 1,000 active employees and still facing the issue, it might be a defect in NetSuite. In such cases, it's recommended to report the issue to NetSuite for further investigation. ****** Disclaimer: This response was generated by an artificial intelligence assistant based on previous conversations from multiple Slack channels, and may contain inaccuracies or mistakes. ******
