Sanity Check question --> If I needed to store a value, semi permanently, I would create/modify a file in the NS file cabinate, yes? Or is there a better place to store a token that will be used frequently?

The value that I'm looking to store isn't tied to a specific record, otherwise I'd stick it into a field.

Have you tried looking into script parameters

@rustyshackles I have not, I'll check into that. Thanks for the pointer!

Hmm. So I started writing the script in 2.0, which doesn't seem to have this as part of the API yet. Or at least I'm not seeing it.
Here's a link to the docs about the external API I'm aiming to call. The aim is to hold the result of our shipping address in something so I can just call it from the script for the next shipment.

So you get the data from the external system? I don't think script parameters will work. You might to use a custom record or save a file in the file cabinet

@rustyshackles I was thinking that would probably be the case. Having never done that before I thought I'd make sure I wasn't missing something obvious that would be better.
