I'm having a hard time with a report request and would love some guidance from the community. I'm not sure what questions to ask and what exactly is being asked for.
We use average costing in our environment. There are two reports/saved searches being asked for:
Report 1 (Summary):
• Item
• Period
• Weighted average cost of goods
• Quantity
Report 2 (Detail) - cost components by sku:
• Everything from above report
• Component
• Cost of good component type
I feel like my lack in accounting knowledge mixed with my lack in completely understanding how NS handles average cost has put me in a blocker.
