Inventory aging reports Does anyone have a good way to do it? I know that NS put out this tutorial for 30/60/90 days but I have an investor asking for history by month for the last 2 years of items + qty. Basically what we had at the start and the end of each month. https://videohub.oracle.com/media/Saved+Search+Shows+Inventory+Aging/1_mh7ihcvj Has anyone hacked this?

I did this a few months back. SuiteAnswer 75940 doesn't really show inventory aging, it shows inventory affecting transactions by bucket (30/60/90 days) I did a proper inventory aging report, showing qty/cost age distribution. However, you also say "basically what we had at the start and end of each month". That sounds more like a inventory valuation report (aka stock status report), just for each month. Could you confirm which you're after, or elaborate on the requirements?

I think our investors really want a proper aging report What we had at the start of each month so they can forecast that based off of demand for this year and the previous

What you're describing is an inventory valuation/stock status report. An inventory aging report typically categorizes items based on their age (age distribution of current stock based on time intervals, like every month for the past two years). While an inventory valuation report provides a snapshot of quantity and cost at specific points in time.
