Hi, been getting a few inquiries from end users regarding inventory count and the need to do it via CSV upload and currently you cant (please correct me if I am wrong) but I came across this https://tvarana.com/inventory-count/ and their solution looks promising but has anyone used it?

You can do inventory adjustments via CSV Upload

Yes you are correct you can do an inventory adjustment but what i am seeing is that they want to create a count session once created they want to upload that count sheet vs doing it via the UI or scan gun. Plus the count session allows you to fix both sides what i mean is say Product X has a qty of 50 at location A but you did a physical count and find that its split and 25 is in location B. The Count session will take care of it on the UI as you will create a variance and you will also key in that you located 25 in a different location. the inventory adjustment import i have to trust the user to fill it out correctly and keep that in mind if they find that split etc scenario they need to 1. decrease the inventory in A and increase the inventory in B. (our users are not keen on accuracy) so I was trying to at least if I have a count sheet to review I can validate some things vs having them just fill in a inventory adjustment csv file and hoping they did it right. on a side note I found out we have smart count but not installed. want to test that and see if that can help as it does allow the locking of bins when counting.

I use RF-Smart for my cycle counts.
