For some of our users, when they are using the find field on a report page it will not take them to the line with that Item #. They have to scroll to it. Any idea why only it happens to some and not all of us? For example anytime I type an item number it takes me directly to the line.
j
Are they definitely using the find field IN the report (as you outlined in your screen shot), and not just using find function in the browser? Those two things function very differently even though most end users see them as basically the same thing.
j
Yea I walked over and tried it myself
j
and the results are definitely there, right? It's not a permissions issue of certain data not displaying on the report?
j
Yep! We scrolled up or down and its highlighted, but doesnt take us there
Such an odd issue
j
yeah, weird. is it a pagination thing? Like you have your pagination set differently than they do?
j
Honestly Im not sure what pagination is
I opened the same report as her if thats what you mean
j
well I guess it shouldn't affect reports now that I think about it, but pagination is the setting in Home > Set Preferences "Number of Rows in list segments" that affects how many pages NetSuite will bucket your saved search results into
j
looks to be set company wide to 100
j
hmm, okay and you have it on override so they can't change it to something else.
j
Correct
j
Support ticket, I guess
j
Thanks for trying though!
