New account now showing up in the Balance Sheet. Starts with 18 and this is included in the report. Also changed the ranges and still not showing up. Any ideas?

Are you sure that account has a balance? If zero balance it won't show Also does it have an account type?

it does not have balance but my accounting director keeps telling me to change the range to show up

Try customizing the balance sheet and check show zero's under more options tab. Also if its very new account and there were no entries against it before, show zeros wont work, you will have to pass a dummy journal entry against that account and then reverse it to nullify. This will help show the account in the balance sheet if show zero's is checked @JC

Yes if it doesn't have a balance it won't show up unless you enable show zeros
