Hi everyone, does anyone know what is up with the lag of updating the permissions of a role and it taking forever for the user to be able to use those new permissions?

Simply logging out and back in should give the user their new permissions

@AK47 That is what I've always had users do. Lately, it seems like there is a lag between making the changes in the UI. And it updating their account. For example, I added their role to my account, I logged out. Log back in. And it still isn't showing up for me to login with the new role. Even though I go to my employee record and it clearly says I have that role attached to my account.

now that's sketchy...I have not had that. I've done that exact action as recently as this morning and it worked fine. What if you open in private browsing? Could be caching.

@AK47 It has happened to me across multiple NS accounts. Tried emptying cache.. No luck.

i would record it and create a case with netsuite. that's definitely strange.

Must be if you are having third party tool to login into NS. Check if web services or Single sign on checkbox is checked, in this case role will not appear in the dropdown when you login. @Addison Regnier
