We have a handful of items that are showing inventory outside of our bins (we should be requiring bins for all inventory). When we try to adjust the inventory out, we cannot because it requests a bin. Does anyone know how to clear inventory out of non-bins?

Test it in a Sandbox or something to double-check me, but I don't think there's necessarily any adverse effects in the short-term to just uncheck the Use Bins box. Uncheck Use Bins for the affected items, do your transaction, then recheck Use Bins. If you're doing some high transaction volume or automation where several hundred transactions might get messed up in the five minutes you have Use Bins off, then I probably wouldn't go that route.

As a best practice, its recommended if an item uses a bin and you havent received an item in the bin, then you should do the bin putaway worksheet transaction in NS to allocate respective bin to the item and then you can take out the inventory @Micah

@Abrar Shaikh is 100% correct. I was making an assumption that these weren't showing on the Bin Putaway screen, which I believe might happen if you have stuff kind of outstanding when you turn on Bins. But for any normal transaction flow, Bin Putaways are the way to go.
