does SS1.0 have a function for formatting an amount based on the rules of a particular currency? eg "1000.00" in UK would be "1 000,00"

There is nlapiFormatCurrency() but that doesn't let you specify which currency so I assume it uses user/account default

for clarity - that format is European. In the UK you would have 1,000.00

I think what he's saying is the UK "1000.00" would be 1 000,00 locally. Just a hard to parse sentence 🙂

possible aye - I use a few European-centric accounts and let's just say that the thousands and decimals denominator are 2nd only to the US date format for throwing out my chi!
