I'm trying to set a default custom segment called Distributed Partner on transactions based on the Item record. If a standard segment is assigned to the Item record, it becomes the default on transactions. But this is not the case for custom segment. That's why I tried to create a WF which do not work. No default custom segment value appears.

That would may involve code. You can create a script instead
