Anyone know how to access the 'Sales > Items Purchased > Quantity' field on the Customer record through a saved search?

Something along the lines of: Customer Saved Search joined to Transaction fields (filter to your desired transactions, Invoice, Cash Sale, etc.) and then group by item and sum quantity ordered

you can also use Sale by customer report

That sublist is just a saved search, that data isn't stored on the customer record.
