When I create a new custom transaction field, it is shown on the standard form of the transaction and I'm not seeing how can I hide this field on the standard form. Is it possible to do this?

yeah this is why our implementations team recommended never to use standard forms, as you can't get around this: editing the standard form makes a new custom form.
