I'm setting up a saved search to email automatically.  I only want it to send if a record is created, not updated.  Does anyone know what I can select to have it send only when records are CREATED?
I'm trying to limit email alerts with to information, just because something was updated.

Maybe put in the saved search a criteria for DateCreated = {systemdate} . then search will only show items created today?

Why not just use a workflow for this instead of a saved search?

I find troubleshooting these notifications failing when it's based on a saved search much more challenging than if it's a workflow

its a fair question.    could go either way I suppose.  IF you know how to use workflows.

A great opportunity for me to learn workflows, though!

Should be a pretty simple scheduled workflow to do this.
