I'm wanting to email a group of customers... I want to email their "main" email as well as their contact(s) emails. I can't figure out how I'd return this correctly in a saved search. I can do a customer search and then add a result of "Contact... Email Address" but then the main email address won't show in the same column. Any ideads?
a
kinda redundant but possibly simple solution would be to recreate the main customer as a contact to itself?
a
this should also be possible in the search itself. Main Line = Either, then a formula saying if main line show the customer email and if not main line show the contacts email
it should give you one list of everyone's email
c
try Entity...contacts and Customers are both Entity (but so is Vendor)

@C_Billings I think I'm leaning this route
I can use Primary Type to remove vendors and such
a
that field is deprecated? not sure what that means for longevity of this
e
@AFL yeah I see that. This is just a one time project so as long as it works for the time being, I should be good
I'm planning to use a workflow to send the email to the emails from this saved search. If I group by email on the saved search will this prevent the email from being sent to the same email address more than once?

@AFL which field is deprecated?

^Primary Type is depreciated

No - grouping your results won't change it from sending more than once if the workflow enters more than once.
Grouping has no impact on a search that feeds a workflow.

good to know, thanks

Set up a saved customer search. Use these for your results. Name = Company Name (default). Email = main email address linked to the customer record. Then include the contact specific fields as such and group by Name.
