I’m trying to figure out a process that will automatically change the customer message when a cash sale or invoice is created to a specific message that we have created in setup > Accounting > accounting Lists. I’m not great at figuring out workflows yet , and tried to do this for well over an hour today no luck. Any tips?

Then in State 1 add an Action. Make it the Set Field value action Trigger On After Record Submit, (choose Create in the Event Type if you want this to only happen when the record is created, otherwise leave as is)

Then in the parameters select the Customer Message field and the Static Value should be whatever wording you want in the message field.
