Does anyone have more info on the email NS sent out last week about ending all support for standard and advanced promotions? it seems pretty ridiculous when the vast majority of NS web sites are still site builder, and can't use suitepromotions...

I didn't get that email so I wouldn't know what you're referring to.

Here is the text:You are receiving this notice because you currently have standard and Advanced promotions set up in your NetSuite account. NetSuite will soon discontinue support for standard promotions and promotions created using the Advanced Promotions SuiteApp. What is Changing? Users will begin seeing information banners when creating standard promotions or promotions using the Advanced Promotions SuiteApp. These banners will appear on the promotion form to notify users that support for these promotion types will soon become unavailable. The promotion codes already setup will keep working for a period of time. You will receive another notice when the end of support date is finalized. Why is NetSuite Making These Changes? Standard and Advanced promotions are being superseded by SuitePromotions. SuitePromotions offer improvements that include a faster and more reliable engine. @Fourth Wave Consulting Yeah, my boss saw this and called our rep explaining that this is not cool! He told us to create a support ticket about it, and he'd take it as ammunition to show people still use this and need to keep it. We can't move to SuiteCommerce for the "new" version of promotions.

Yeah, kind of an expensive forced upgrade.

We have a ticket in as well. Who takes away a core functionality like this right before the holiday season? I’ve never know a another company that treated its customers so carelessly.

It's just a way to force people off site builder.
