#C298P0BCK Has anyone found a solution for items that need installation? Like customer orders from you then you ship it to a install crew (either at a job site or to their shop) then once they finish the install you can invoice the customer? Would need it to show inventory on hand at the installer shop or job site until work is complete

Hey Alan, I worked with a floor installer previously. They would record an inventory transfer to an off-site location (either a generic location with bins for each job or a job specific location) then the order was fulfilled from that location. It was a few years back but they used a 3rd party app for the fulfillments from the project/order.

Hi @Rich Keller thanks for the feedback, really great idea. Was this all a home grown solution? This was kind of what I was thinking as well but I as hoping maybe there was some prebuilt app that does this. I guess not. It’s kind of this weird combination of outsourced mfg and field service so a unique process. I would have thought a lot of companies out there have this problem but maybe not Either way appreciate the insight
