This is such a ridiculous question, but I've spent an hour and half trying to figure this out. How can I set a JE status to rejected via workflow? Status is not available. There is an Approved field which is accessible, but no Rejected. There is an Is Rejected field, but setting it sets the status to blank, and then I can't change it after that.

Have you enabled Approval Routing for journal entries? I think once you enable that you can control the Next Approver and Approval Status fields via a workflow

Yes, I just figured it out. I unchecked REQUIRE APPROVALS ON JOURNAL ENTRIES, which is why the status is blank. I need to approve all JEs in the SB before it will let me check that box.
