A scheduled script that's been running for years once every 15 minutes is now running haphazardly every 30 minutes up to 2 hours between runs. I tried creating a new scheduled deployment with the same settings, once every 15 minutes, but it's exhibiting the same behavior. The script is not running any longer than usual (only a couple of seconds) and it's not throwing errors. There doesn't appear to be a backup with the script queue that would cause a delay. Any ideas of what might be going on here?
j
how many scheduled scripts do you have?
k
looks like about 15 non-bundle scheduled scripts, most not running as often as the /15 min script - how would the number of scheduled scripts affect things? shouldn't the Netsuite scheduler still at least attempt to fire the script every 15 min?
j
I was just wondering if maybe there is a limit
to the number that can be scheduled at one time
k
hmm there's not a limit as far as I know
a
never heard of anything like this before, if the script is that old does it have a script queue selected? maybe remove that? I think script queues are deprecated but they still show up in the UI, maybe that's causing some issues in the NS blackbox? just guessing really, that's a very odd issue you have
k
nope, no script queue assigned for this scheduled script
odd indeed!

is an instance starting and sitting in pending for hours? or it just doesn't create the instance?

The instance doesn't start every 15 min, but when they do they only last a few seconds since the script doesn't do much
a
yeah I mean you've done all the things I would have done in your shoes. I hate to break it to you but you're going to have to put in a ticket with NS support
k
😩
a
have you added any new MR / scheduled scripts recently?
k
not that I'm aware of, but our queue (in Script Queue Monitor) is clear - there's not a backlog of pending scripts or anything
a
does that show combined MRs and schedule scripts? I don't remember, and not in front of my work computer currently
k
yeah both
a
support case it is my friend, godspeed
k
Ahh shucks! Thanks any way!
