Hi All, what is the difference between NetSuite native integration components( Restlets, SOAP and REST ) vs Ipaas tools like Mulesoft, Dellboomi, workato etc. why do we have both the options to solve a single problem?

Many reasons including: 1. iPaaS account for security, reliability, scalability, reporting, error management 2. You can use an iPaaS to solve a host of other integration problems beyond NetSuite 3. Ability for less technical users (eg: not SuiteScript experts) to solve their own integration problems

ipaas software use the restlet/rest/soap to communicate with netsuite. Without those they wouldn't work. Ipaas is just a middleman that communicates (and transforms) in between systems.

At Celigo we’ve also built our own NetSuite bundle including restlets that allow us to optimize and provide some advanced features (eg: seamless user event scripts that end up functioning like webooks)
