I have a general auditing-netsuite-customization changes question. We have a handful of custom scripts, saved searches, & (a lot of) custom lists; I'm sure there are many more to follow. How would a technical senior team member keep track of those changes over time to make sure that there isn't duplication or crufty testing elements? I'm putting our scripts into revision control, but that doesn't force individuals to do the right thing and revise in revision control in concert with putting that change in the file cabinet. Lists & custom records are of special concern to me because they have great impact in shaping business critical data but I do not know how to effectively review new ones or generally audit changes over time. I also ponder similar questions for saved searches wishing to ensure that the right search ideas are getting pushed out to the company as a whole. Perhaps all of these have adequate revision management internally to NS, but I'm biased towards something that brings all the changes together more like standalone developer revision controls would. What do other people do with these questions?
