I'm new to this forum and to Netsuite, so please forgive me if I break protocol. I have struggled to get reports out of NetSuite that my 40-year-old software package used to provide. What do NetSuite users do for reporting? There is a lot of manual effort involve in importing a csv into Excel and reformatting to get a presentable output. Has anyone tried using Suite Analytics Connect to send data to a report writer such as Crystal Reports? Is there a better option?

Couple of 3rd party apps to consider. If you’re looking to build financial statements in Excel consider Solution 7 in the UK. If the data you need is accessible via a saved search then you can likely use our App, CloudExtend Excel for NetSuite, for free. The free version allows NetSuite users to stream existing saved searches (not reports) directly into Excel without having to export data from NetSuite UI 1st. If you have NetSuite reports then you may want to consider their free WebQuery option. On the Report Builder page click ‘More Options’ and then check ‘Allow Web Query’. You will then see and ‘Export-Excel Web Query’ option in the footer. For more info type Help:Excel Web Query in your global search bar in NetSuite
