Hi, I have a date filter in my saved search, but whenever I use any date as a filter, the filter shows up as From and To, is there a way to let the users only select one date in the saved search filter?
s
that is a system default for date filter as far as I can tell

Add "Date" to your search criteria as well and use an option which requires only one date input (like "After" or "Before"). Then the date filter on your search will show similarly.
This requires that you set a default criteria/filter on date, but that's usually OK. Not sure of your exact use case. Just set that as wide open as you need.
s
then users can not use the filter as intended. They use the options below in the default date filter

How is the filter intended? Lol that's why I said I don't know the full use case. My suggestion still supports these options in your screenshot. Am I missing something?
Is OP saying that they want to define the To date as criteria and let users only edit the From date via filter, for example? The objective is not totally clear

Hi, plugging in the date criteria after a certain time did the job for me. Thank you!

Actually.... lol It worked in the sense that I can only select one date, but it functions as if I have not plugged in any To date. However, when I changed the criteria from date after to date on, I was able to use the filter to only pull data for the selected date.

Sorry...are you trying to have the users select one single date as in only show transactions for 1/1/2023?
Oh yes, I just re-read your last message. Date criteria using "on" is the correct approach.

yup, thank you for pointing me to the right direction!
