Hi All, I;m creating a Mass Update to clear the 'salutation' and 'fax' for both contact and custom records. But I cannot see those fields the Mass Update Fields subtab in the Mass Update entry page. Any ideas?

Would probably make far more sense to do a csv import

im blanking those fields...so i don't think CSV import is best, right?

These are the fields available in the Mass Update page

going off the title of your search, you hid the fields on your preferred form

To be available for mass update, a field must meet the following criteria:

    It must support inline editing. For more information, see Using Inline Editing.

    It must be displayed on your preferred form for the record type being updated.

    If it is a standard field, it must be outside of subtab lists and must not have dependencies on other fields.

    If it is a custom field, it must be stored and must not have a sourcing relationship.
