That sounds like it’s the old version of intercompany, which is really limiting. The newer better version allows you to use global inventory and set other subsidiary locations on the lines on the sales order, so you can place a sales order and set the line locations to the other sub and then fulfill directly from the other sub. In that process, you can also return across subs too.
