After the 2019.1 update the WYSIWYG editor for communications isn't working? We're attempting to reply to Case emails but we see a bunch of HTML in the editor? Anyone else run into this?

We are having this issue as well. Originally thought it was a permissions issue, but don't think that is the case

cool i'll open a ticket

We had the same issues this week, and found that clearing the browser cache worked for all of our users. They may be loading an older, incompatible version of the JS editor from the browser cache.

Using cases and inbound emails for internal support tickets - we're seeing this as well in the message body, where hitting the Enter key sends the email instead of creating a newline. Clearing cache ineffective.

Yes, We've also found and reported this issue. One workaround we found works, if your users have signatures in their preferences, have them uncheck the "Add signature to messages" box. Root cause looks to be some accounts missing a javascript file codeMirror.js. If it's happening and you open your javascript console, you will see the error.
@Wreckless @depthless As an update to this issue, it's been classified as a Defect 532370 with a tentative e-fix release on March 21st
