Wonder if you could create a custom work flow that sends at least the payment request email triggered based on setting it as a PayPal payment and saving the order.

@TeaGuyJosh I'm with Solupay Processing, and integrated SuitePayments solution provider for NetSuite. I don't know if it makes sense or not, but we have the functionality to allow for you to be able to send out payment requests for invoices, quotes or deposits via email with a link in it. Once the payment is made it's posted right back within NetSuite and applied to the invoice etc.
