Has anyone tried to build an inventory valuation saved search segmented by cost category for standard cost items? I was able to create 2 saved searches - one with snapshot of quantities on hand as of any specific date selected in the filter and another for inventory cost revaluation transaction to pick up the effective standard cost PER COST CATEGORY at any given date as well. I just can't combine them in one saved search. Hypothetically, it should look like this: Item Location Quantity on Hand Material Cost (1st cost category) Standard Overhead (2nd cost category) I think the issue is this. In an Item Receipt, there are at least 2 transaction lines from the saved search. First line in the saved search is for Material Cost cost category with received Quantity for Item A. Second line in the saved search is for Standard Overhead cost category but with no Quantity for Item A. If I can "copy" the Quantity from the Material Cost Category line to the Standard Overhead cost category line, I think it should work. Just not sure if this is possible.
