General question: How much data can NetSuite handle before seeing performance issues? My company has historically not used NetSuite to its full capabilities, and I'm starting to build out integrations using Celigo to get real-time data into our system from our DWH. Our company is e-commerce and processes a few thousand transactions daily. I would really like to be able to import all of our data at the line-item level, creating a 1:1 record for every sale that occurs on our platform. Given that we're processing anywhere from 3,000-5,000 orders per day, I'd like to plan correctly now so we don't run into issues in the future. Can I import this many transactions without seeing performance issues? What should I be prepared for on the data storage cost side if we're doing this volume of imports?

1. Yes you can import this many orders per day. I have a client who imports sometimes over 100k of transactions per day, averagely around 1M per month. The volume of transactions your instance is capable of will be dependent on your NS tier. 2. Data storage is related to file storage in your file cabinet and not related to transaction data. For example, JE transactions would NOT be be considered part of the data storage, however, the supporting documents attached to the JE would be considered data storage. Your NS account manager can provide an estimate on increasing data storage if needed.

I think that answered for what I need, thanks!

One thing to mention, you should check with your account manager about the monthly transaction line volume. they may have to upgrade your tier if you bypass a threshold.

Their volume is under the 200k threshold for upgrading from the standard tier. Their max seems to be 5k per day x 30 days = 150k per month

Except it's by transaction line, not transaction count. So be aware it can sneak up on you.
