Workbooks are running so sloooowly for me that they are essentially unusable for a dashboard setting. Is this everyone's experience?

While I can't comment on using them for dashboards, my overall experience with workbooks has been poor.

I've had success with them, but for portlet/dashboards you really don't want to bury them in large data. I find it's great for an interactive sales over the last X days by customer/warehouse that we ship for example. Not so much for large revenue comparisons - I prefer KPIs for those.

Thanks Mark. I'm trying to get budget vs actual data on the dashboard, and that seems impossible without a workbook.

You can't even do it with a workbook anyways

@KevinJ of Kansas The math is working correctly for us, the new ability to link datasets in 2022.1 seems to solve it. I've got a dataset for budgets and a dataset for actuals linked. And for some reason the budget workbook data table is not limited to the accounting period issue that saved searches have
