Hello - Is it possible to prevent changes to work orders in NetSuite after a period has ended? This is affecting accounts and balances

you could try a workflow that triggers a lock record action on that record type

it's a non-posting transaction so it will never natively be locked due to accounting period close etc

I tried the workflow thing last week and they did not want that

your second message makes sense but that's what they want

Every month we have issues with work orders being touched after month-end which cause the balances to change. I know we can’t lock down the period to prevent this,

they want to edit, they don't want those to affect acctng periods

but they won't impact posting accounts, just the non-posting work order accounts which shouldn't matter from what i understand
