I have to create a saved search based on a report. Not an expert on report, need some help. The report name is "Inventory report...." There's 2 parameters, Date Location It return Qty Cost etc... Based on that limited info, what data the report is reading from ?

Based on the return value, sounds like it may be a transaction based report looking at RAs.
