We have hundred's of Inventory and Assembly Items that we will need to convert some to Serialized and some to Lot Control, • Is there a way to convert Inventory and Assembly items to Serialized or Lot Numbered or we need to inactivate them and recreate them?

Recreate, convert inventory over, then inactivate after ensuring the numbers line up. Would highly recommend utilizing a separate clearing account for this process.

Thank you for the info. I am not that familiar with the accounting side. Are you suggestion changing to a temp account for all exiting Items that we will need to change or a temp account for the new items we create?

User should go back and edit the PO then perform the Item Receipt. This is an operational issue.
