Hi Everyone, Does SuiteBilling support this use case for usage? The usage pricing is based on YTD total usage. Every month, usage data comes into NS, but the pricing depends on the total YTD usage. Tier-based Pricebook: 0 - 100 = $1 100 - 200 = $2 201 - 300 = $3 Month 1 Usage: 20 Month 1 invoice = $20 Month 2 Usage = 90 Total YTD usage = 20 + 90 = 110 Month 2 invoice = 90 x $2 = $180 Month 3 Usage = 50 Total YTD usage = 110 + 50 = 160 Month 3 invoice = 50 X $2 = $100

He Sue, if you find that SB can’t support that use case Zone Advanced Billing can and is a common one for us. In our usage rating we have an optional feature called a “Tier achievement” search. So instead of rating the individual periods usage against the Pricebook we have our Search look at YTD to set the rate, but use the quantity from the current period. We also use this feature when clients have pooled usage. E.g. usage across multiple sub customers/locations sets the tiered rate for everyone but each individual subscription or location gets billed for their qty at that grouped/pooled rate. Happy to help if native functionality isn’t the right fit!
